All services provided by HB Planning Services are bespoke and prepared specifically for each client.
Once we begin work on your project, we generally cannot refund payments because we have already allocated professional time, technical expertise, and design resources to your project.
Refunds will not normally be provided where:
- Work has commenced
- Drawings have been produced
- Planning documents have been prepared
- The client changes their mind
- Planning permission or Building Control approval is refused
- Delays arise due to third parties or public authorities
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection laws.
Payment Policy
- Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or invoice.
- Work may not commence until the agreed payment has been received.
- Outstanding invoices may delay project delivery.
- Late payments may incur statutory interest and recovery costs where permitted by law.
- Prices are quoted in GBP unless otherwise stated.
Revision Policy
Your quotation includes only the number of revisions specified.Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope will incur additional fees.Major design alterations will be treated as a new project and quoted separately.
Project Delivery Policy
Estimated completion dates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to:
- Client response times
- Missing information
- Third-party consultants
- Survey availability
- Local Authority processing
- Utility providers

Planning Permission Disclaimer
HB Planning Services prepares professional drawings intended to support planning and building regulation applications.
However, we cannot guarantee:
- Planning Permission
- Building Control Approval
- Approval by Local Authorities
- Approval by third-party consultants
All decisions remain entirely at the discretion of the relevant authority.
Intellectual Property Policy
All drawings, concepts, calculations, CAD files, digital documents, and designs remain the intellectual property of HB Planning Services until full payment has been received.Upon payment, clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use the drawings solely for the agreed project.
Without written consent, drawings may not be:
- Resold
- Redistributed
- Copied
- Used for another development
- Modified by third parties
Website Use Policy

Cancellation Policy
Clients may cancel before work begins.If work has commenced, cancellation will not normally entitle the client to a refund.Any work completed up to the cancellation date remains chargeable.
Communication Policy
Project communication should take place through our approved communication channels.Approvals provided by email, written message, or signed documents shall be considered binding.Failure to respond promptly may delay project completion.
Complaints Policy
If you are dissatisfied with our services:
- Submit your complaint in writing.
- Include all relevant information.
- We will investigate promptly.
- We aim to provide a response within 10 business days.
We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and professionally.
Force Majeure
